Morocco Royal Cities


Day 1: Casablanca to Rabat

Based your arrival time in Casablanca Airport. Pick up and drive to start your day with a visit to Hassan ll Mosque, considered to be the largest in the world outside of Mecca. You will have an optional lunch at El-Corniche. You will move to Rabat in the afternoon, the capital of Morocco. Then you will visit Chellah ancient ruin, El-Hassan Tower and picturesque Oudayas Kasbah. And you will have a visit to Mohamed V tomb; who refused to allow Vichy’s government occupying during the WW ll. You will have your dinner at your hotel. Overnight.

Day 2: Rabat to Meknes

After breakfast Departure to Meknes where you will explore the Medina of Meknes with its beautiful Tomb of Moulay Ismail, The Granary, The Square of Lehdim, and the Gate of Bab al Mansour. You will have the opportunity to explore the souks and relax in one of the Square café’s. Spend the night in Meknes.

Day 3: Meknes / Volubilis / Chefchaouan

After breakfast you will depart to Volubilis and explore the ruins of this Roman city. You will visit the holy city of Moulay Idriss, a place of pilgrimage of all Moroccans. Your journey will take you to the wonderful city of Chefchaouen via the Rif Mountains where you will stay the evening.

Day 4: Exploring Chefchaouan

This day will be dedicated to exploring the simply beautiful city of Chefchaouen where everything is set dramatically climbing up the mountains. Load up your cameras! Its blue-washed houses, narrow cobbled streets, and mountainous backdrop create a tranquil and photographic setting. Spend the night in Chefchaouen.

Day 5: Chefchaouan to Fes

After breakfast then you will head to the city of Fes where you will discover one of most important royal cities of Morocco and stay the evening in a Riad.

Day 6: Exploring Fes Medina Today

you will spend the morning exploring the ramparts of Fes, seeing the Tomb of the Merinids, visiting the 14th-century Bou Inania Medersa and the excellent museum with its collection of illuminated manuscripts and ceramics. You will have lunch in the Medina then explore the fascinating cobbled lanes of the Medina, and richly decorated Attarin Medersa, and the Neijarin Fountain. View the medieval tannery, the mosques, the Fondouks where the donkeys and their owners gather, and the infinite variety of merchandise of handcraft’s and edible goods to copperware and pottery. Spend the night in Fes at the same riad.

Day 7: Fes / Middel Atlas / Marrakech Depart Fes

after breakfast and travel through Ifrane and the mid-Atlas to reach the Cedar Forest of Azrou known by the Barbary apes. Then continue to Beni Melall, a town known by agricultural foods such as oranges, olives, and vegetables. After Lunch continue to Marrakesh In the evening plunge into the excitement of the place Djemâa El-Fna Square in the heart of Morocco. There you will be delighted by the dancers, snake charmers, jugglers, narrators, and singers as well as enjoy a refreshing orange juice in front of the numerous workshops. Spend the night in a Riad.

Day 8: Sightseeing around Marrakech

Following breakfast, you will have a full day tour of Marrakech with the opportunity for a horse-drawn carriage ride around the city ramparts and lunch. You will visit the Koutoubia Minaret, the Majorelle Gardens, the 16th century Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, and the Dar Si Said Palace museum of jewelry, kaftans, leatherwork, carpets, chests and doors. Spend the night in a Riad.

Day 9: Depart Marrakech for transfer to the airport in Casablanca.
